Description
An unusual example of figurative painting on a cylinder vase form, this piece features two kachina designs separated by corn stalks. The clay and design sensibility indicate Nampeyo (1858-1942) as the maker. This piece measures 6 1/4″ in diameter by 5 3/4″ in high. A traditional piece of pottery, this vase in in excellent condition. From a private collection in New Mexico.
