Description
This magnificent yellowware vase with the classic migration design by Leah Nampeyo is excellently fired with an elegant form. The migration design features fine line work and is framed by two thick black lines. The vase is well painted and pit-fired traditionally. Leah was well trained by her mother, Fannie, Nampeyo’s youngest daughter.
The piece measures 7 ½” in height and 5 ¾” in diameter. This piece is in excellent original condition and is clearly signed on the base.
