Description
An excellent example of Sikyatki Revival pottery, this early yellowware mug was made by master potter Nampeyo of Hano, c.1900. With a distinctive eagle tail design, this piece was traditionally made from native Hopi clay and pit fired. The red rim indicates Nampeyo’s early vintage.
This piece measures 5 ¼” tall by 3 ¾” in diameter and is in excellent condition.
