An exceptional jar by Acoma master potter Rachel Aragon, (1938-2023), Sister of Florence Aragon, this stunning jar features many iconic designs from the long tradition of Acoma pottery. The design was inspired by a traditional Acoma jar from 1880 and features a fabulous Sun Design. The intricate design is painted with masterful precision, complimenting the graceful form of this thin, well-balanced jar representing the last generation of great traditional potters from Acoma.


This piece measures 7″ high by 8 ¾” in diameter. It is traditionally made and signed by the artist. An excellent addition to your collection of Acoma pottery.
