A masterful example of contemporary Acoma pottery by Franklin Peters, this jar features an attractive parrot accented with fine-line designs. This piece is thinly potted by a skilled traditional artist, decorated with gorgeous, flowing designs in rich red and black on a clean white slip. Traditionally made but kiln fired, this piece incorporates all-natural hand-ground Acoma clay slips and vegetal pigment and is signed by the artist and dated 2007, representing the last generation of great traditional potters from Acoma.


This piece measures 9” high by 9” in diameter and is in fine condition. A great addition to any collection.
