Description
This fetish necklace is a great example of fine Zuni jewelry-making. Featuring small hand-carved fetishes depicting bears and foxes with a larger jet bear as a central pendant, this piece demonstrates a variety of colors and forms. The fetishes are strung on two strands of shell heishe beads measuring 27″ in total length from clasp to clasp. Excellent original condition. Carver unknown.
