Description
This fetish necklace is an iconic example of fine Zuni carving c.1950, featuring elegant, hand-carved bird fetishes interspersed between traditional clam shell heishe. It is finished with a traditional wrap without a clasp and measures 25″ around. A complex, wearable piece of classic Zuni craftsmanship. Excellent original condition. Carver unknown.
