“Sikyatki Shard III”, oil painting by Steve Elmore

Description

This is the third oversize oil painting of a prehistoric Sikyatki Shard that Steve has done for this summer’s show. It measures 48″ x 37″ and of course, like a shard, is irregular in shape. The background is applied arroyo sand, carefully sifted. It’s an abstraction of an abstraction. Can be shown at different angles, big presence.
