Description
San Ildefonso redware jar with impressed white on red design of the water serpent. Gilbert Attencio was well known as an easel artist of scenes of Pueblo life and dances. He made very few pieces of pottery. This one measures 5″ high by 4 3/4″ in diameter. It is in very good condition with no restoration or repair.
