Description
This is a white slip open bowl from Nampeyo’s transitional period. It features a unique, polychrome, eagle tail motif in red and brown. The bowl has a lug and, although there is a lot of wear, the old piece still carries a great presence and impactful form and design.
The piece measures 3” in height by 9 ¼” in diameter, with a fair amount of wear, water stains, and some chips and scuffing along the rim and exterior.
