Navajo Silver Pin by Frank Salcido

This is a sterling silver pin by Navajo/Diné artist Frank Salcido (1955- ). The back features his full signature and hallmark “Frank Salcido Comes Charging.” Frank Salcido was a graduate of IAIA, and is well-known for his painting and silversmithing. As indicated on the back of the piece, the pin is made from 925 sterling silver. The pin’s design is of a Navajo man and woman in a traditional blanket dance. It measures 2 ½” height and 1 1/8” width. A great authentic piece of Southwest jewelry, perfect for adorning a hat or jacket.
