Description
This charming Hopi basket plaque from Second Mesa dates to the 1950s or 1960s. The plaque is a rare example of a weaver portraying the Palhik Mana with both the form and design of the basket. The multi-colored plaque incorporates white, black, green, yellow, blue, and red dyes, and is faded on the front. The weaving measures 11″ height and 9″ width, and is in good condition.
