Description
This Hopi black and white on red plate by Zella Cheeda is painted with a continuous spiral composition constructed from opposing avian and geometric elements arranged around a central point. The design integrates solid red fields, stippled texture panels, and sharply defined black contour lines, a format drawn from late Sikyatki bowl layouts.
This plate measures 7” in diameter.
