Description
This iconic Zia jar is a classic example with three birds flying around its circumference. It features classic Zia design elements including a red slip around the mouth of the jar and a secondary band around its bottom. It measures 11″ high by 11 1/2″ in diameter and dates from between 1900 – 1915. It is in excellent original condition with some signs of ethnographic use giving it an excellent patination of age. An great example of classic Zia potting. A great addition to any collection of Pueblo masterpieces.
